Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos: Everything We Know
Last updated
Quick answer
GTA 6 stars two playable protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, in the series' first modern dual-lead story. Their partnership drives a crime spree across the state of Leonida.
Lucia Caminos is the first female protagonist in a mainline Grand Theft Auto game. Trailer 1 opens with her leaving a Leonida correctional facility, and Rockstar's own bio frames her around family, bad luck and a determination to change her odds. She is the one who pushes the pair toward larger jobs.
Jason Duval grew up around grifters and hustlers, served in the Army, and washed up in the Leonida Keys working for local drug crews. Rockstar describes him as wanting an easy life while trouble keeps finding him, which makes him the steadier half of the partnership.
Expect the story to switch between them, in the tradition of GTA V's three-character structure but tuned for a single partnership.
