GTA 6 Map & Locations

GTA 6 is set in Leonida, a fictional state modelled on Florida, with Vice City as its main urban centre. Confirmed regions include Vice City, the Leonida Keys, the Everglades-style wetlands, Port Gellhorn and rural inland towns.

Regions of Leonida

Each region shown in official material so far, and what it appears to offer.

Major city

Vice City

Placeholder copy: The beating heart of the map — a modern, sprawling take on Rockstar's Miami analogue, with beachfront strips, downtown high-rises, art-deco districts and a nightlife economy that fuels much of the story.

Island chain

Leonida Keys

Placeholder copy: A string of low-lying islands south of the mainland, connected by long causeways. Boats matter here, and so do the smuggling routes that run through them.

Wetlands

Grassrivers / Everglades

Placeholder copy: Swampland with airboats, hidden camps and wildlife. Expect the map's off-road and aerial traversal to be centred on this region.

Coastal town

Port Gellhorn

Placeholder copy: A faded panhandle beach town with a run-down amusement pier — the visual opposite of Vice City's polish.

Rural interior

Ambrosia & Mount Kalaga

Placeholder copy: Farmland, small towns and forested high ground filling the space between the coasts.

How Big Is the GTA 6 Map?

Rockstar has not published a figure. Placeholder estimate: expect a landmass meaningfully larger than GTA V's Los Santos and Blaine County, with a denser city core and more interior spaces.
