GTA 6 is set in Leonida, a fictional state modelled on Florida, with Vice City as its main urban centre. Confirmed regions include Vice City, the Leonida Keys, the Everglades-style wetlands, Port Gellhorn and rural inland towns.

Major city
Leonida's main city and the map's centre of gravity, rebuilt as a modern Miami analogue. Trailer footage shows the Ocean Drive-style beachfront strip, art-deco hotels, a downtown high-rise core, and the club and music scene that Boobie Ike and Dre'Quan Priest operate in.
Island chain
A chain of low-lying islands south of the mainland linked by long causeways, shown in Trailer 1 with stilt houses, marinas and trailer parks. This is where Jason Duval lives when the story opens, and boats are the practical way to move between the islands.
Wetlands
An Everglades-style wetland region named in official material, seen with airboats skimming sawgrass, alligators, and isolated camps off the highway. It fills the interior between the coasts and is the natural home for off-road and aerial traversal.
Coastal town
A faded panhandle beach town shown with a run-down amusement pier, motels and a boardwalk. It is the deliberate visual opposite of Vice City's neon polish and sits on the northern coast of the state.
Rural interior
Named inland locations covering farmland, small towns and forested high ground. Mount Kalaga is presented as a state-park style highland area, the closest thing Leonida has to GTA V's Mount Chiliad.
Rockstar has never published a square-mile figure for the GTA 6 map, so any exact number you see is a fan estimate. What is confirmed is the scope: a full state with one major city (Vice City), an island chain, wetlands, a second coastal town and rural inland areas — a wider spread of distinct regions than GTA V's Los Santos and Blaine County, with a denser city core and more enterable interiors.
